Hedge
A linear planting of suitable trees or shrubs planted relatively close together so that the branches will intertwine to provide a barrier fence for a windbreaker or privacy.
Additional Information
Hedges can be any height or width depending on the plant material used. Generally they are a long lived species. Eg. Boxwood, forsythia, privet, or arborvite to name just a few.
