Botrytis
Any of various fungi of the genus Botrytis, most notably Botrytis cinerea, that is responsible for numerous diseases of fruits and vegetables. Also known as "grey mold" this ubiquitous fungus commonly colonizes dead tissue and attacks live plants through wounds, especially under prolonged high-humidity periods.
